Platforms are the area in which the Creative Commons Global Network (CCGN) work together, cooperate and collaborate towards shared goals, within the network and in collaboration with other people or organizations. If you're new to CC and this is your first Summit, make sure to take a look

This session in particular is about the Open GLAM Platform. In CC Summit 2017 we discussed how an Open GLAM Platform would look like and we produced
a document that was later distributed and commented among several people from the GLAM movement.
In this session we will close that document, comment on some of the ongoing activities at CC that are in connection with this platform, identify key activities to undertake between 2018-2019, and establish ways and ladders of participation for people that want to join this platform.
Session Outcomes: - Make connections between current Open GLAM advocates & practitioners inside the CC Global Network.
- Understand what “platforms” are and why and how Creative Commons can involve with the Open GLAM community.
- Identify ladders of participation for volunteers and projects: how can someone get involved with CC Open GLAM Platform?
- Identify priorities and activities that we wish to carry out as a platform during 2018-2019.
